Object description
The employees of the paper mill were provided with separate apartments with wood heating. There was no charge for firewood, water and electricity supplied by the factory.
In one of the wooden row houses in Līgatne there is an apartment of Līgatne paper mill workers, which was renovated in the 20th century style .In the apartment is available a video film about the life of the families of paper mill workers, the plot of the film is based on the story of a witness of the era. There is Opportunity to try on the everyday and festive costumes of paper mill workers, created in the late 19th and beginning of 20th century.
