Object description

Anfabrika Locks is an engineering structure of the Līgatne River Waterway Cascade, which “divides” the river into two separate rivers – one whose task flows to the Gauja and the other whose task is to supply the Līgatne Paper Mill with water.
A fish path has been built over the Anfabrika locks, which allows salmon, sea trout, trout and perch spawning in the Līgatne River to reach their spawning grounds, thus expanding the spawning opportunities in the river.
