Object description

Brenguļi Brewery has operated since 1969 and after liquidation of collective farms in 1993 it became a property of Freivalds family. The brewery is housed in an old building on the bank of the River Abuls together with a small hydropower plant. The cellars of the hydropower plant are now used for beer brewing.
Next to the brewery a special garden is open during the summer season where visitors can enjoy a leisurely glass of beer or have a picnic on the beautiful bank of the Abuls.
