Object description
On the bank of the Mēmele, near the Lithuanian border, you can find the stately Skaistkalne manor, protected from war and revolution. It has been a school for more than 90 years.
The author of the manor house, which can still be seen today, is the author of Liepāja architect Maksis Pauls Berči, but the construction works were managed by Liepāja construction contractor Johans Vilhelms Rīge.
The historisma style building was completed in 1894.
