Object description
For more then 5km long on the edge of Gauja, in area rich in wooded ravines,the trails been established.
Trails were founded in 1975 – with the aim of :introducing park visitors to Latvia’s natural values and local species of wild plants and animals. Elk, foxes, bears, deer, raccoon dogs, lynxes, wild boars, squirrels, hedgehogs, as well as ospreys and owls can be observed in the enclosures of Līgatne nature trails.
The visit takes on average 2-3 h.
