The Fashion museum Riga is the only specialised museum dedicated to fashion history in the Baltic. For visitors, it opened its doors in 2016, becoming an excellent addition to the family of Old Riga museums. There are variable thematic exhibitions in the fashion museum, as well as a small permanent exhibition that allows you to get to know the costumes of different periods. The museum’s visit allows you to admire and appreciate an older and newer time in fashion-authentic, valuable gowns – the oldest of which are unique and preserved in a single copy.
The museum also has its own café and a small store of books and souvenirs.
