Object description
Origins of the culture palace “Ziemeļblāzma” date back to 1903 when patron Augusts Dombrovskis presented a land plot to the Abstinence Society “Ziemeļblāzma” and promised to look after the maintenance and development of it. The palace became one of the most important cultural and educational centres not only in Riga, but also for the whole Latvia. The building is surrounded by the park with total area of 5 ha what was created already in 1904.
