Camino Latvia is in the process of development, so the Way is not yet completely marked at all stages. In order to facilitate your way, we offer to use the maps in the .KML format what are available for download under the “Routs” section of the home page, along with descriptions of each of six stages currently prepared. Especially for convenient use, we recommend to use the LVM GEO Mobile application. LVM GEO Mobile is an application developed by “Latvia’s State Forests” for work and recreation in nature, with the most extensive range of maps and data layers available together. It is designed for Android and iOS operating systems, the app is based on pre-prepared cartographic material that can be used both online and downloaded for offline use. When you are online and open the downloaded .KML file in the LVM GEO Mobile application on your mobile phone, you will see the route for that particular stage, as well as your location in nature. The app is also available to users of the Windows 10 operating system, you can also create your own map for printing in the. pdf format.
