Celebration of St. James Day

On Saturday, 25 July 2026, the Latvian St. James Way Association, in cooperation with the Roman Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Skaistkalne, invites you to join the celebration of St. James Day. 
You will have a unique opportunity to meet passionate pilgrims, Camino de Santiago enthusiasts, and members of the Camino Latvia team. Take part in a volunteer workday to help improve the pilgrim hostel (albergue), share a moment of prayer and reflection in the beautiful and newly revitalised Skaistkalne Shrine, and enjoy a communal meal in an atmosphere of relaxed conversations, laughter, and stories of adventures along the Way.

The celebration of St. James Day will be attended by Esther Martín Padrón, Deputy Head of Mission of the Embassy of Spain in Latvia, as well as representatives of the Bauska Municipality.
