Camino Latvia new branch
We started the year 2025 with a symbolic pilgrimage, marking the first stage of the new Camino Latvia route branch – Ikla / Salacgrīva. This year, the plan is to begin the creation of the path, continuing the Eesti Jaakobitee palverändurid https://camino.ee/ route, which leads from Tallinn to Ikla. We invite anyone who can offer special accommodations for pilgrims (places you can’t find on Booking) to sign up, so people can enjoy the Vidzeme coastline as much as possible, and of course, stay overnight there. We have completed the first stage exploration from Ainaži to Salacgrīva. For the upcoming stages, we will seek participation and support from local people, but that will be closer to spring!
