If you choose to take to the Camino in winter or early spring, we advise you to follow the weather forecast as well as information about the water level in rivers. During deep snow or flooding some parts of the trail can be very difficult or impossible. Rivers can be impossible to cross due to high water levels. Some bridges can be submerged or washed away in floods. It is quite typical that parts of fields, meadows and woodlands are flooded.
